My most recent trip to Graceworks did not disappoint. As always, I didn’t buy everything I noticed. I’d never have room for it all!
My primary purpose on this trip had been part of a series, The Silver Experiment, but there was lots more to see.
For example, this angel with her hands behind her back.

See? The hands are there!

This bunk bed set looks like it came right from Great Wolf Lodge.

This dresser was fairly new and in absolutely perfect condition.

The marble (or granite?) coffee table and end tables were very large. I don’t know how anyone is going to move them.

Oh my. Can we take a second to appreciate this fantastic buffet table?

Alright, moving on…
Here’s the tiniest side table I have ever seen.

Now it’s bags and books time.
I’d never heard of Younique, but basic research tells me they’re a direct sales company. I guess someone retired from the business.

This is not the right purse to take to the movies.

And now for the books!
Of all the theologians who could expound upon the mysteries of the Bible… well, Charlton Heston could give it a shot too, I guess.

I picked these up for Husbandman. They were published in 1917.

This one I didn’t pick up, but I love the cover. Graphic designers in the pre-digital era were awesome.

This also has an awesome cover, and I did bring it home, again for Husbandman.

How would you like a diamond… peel?
Remember that episode of Arrested Development with the Diamond Cream, where Lindsay’s like “I can actually smear diamonds on my face!”. Yeah, I don’t think this is that.

Now we’re off to see the shoes!
Even less-then-hardcore thrifters know you can find some amazing shoes at the thrift store. One lady’s “Ouch! These are killing me!” is another lady’s “These fit perfectly!”

And look what I found for me! Coach loafers for $7. The leather is buttery soft. I have a hard time finding dressier shoes because I have wide feet, and most flats pinch me in that part of the foot under the pinky toe where bunions usually form. These are nice and wide. Huzzah!
I hope you enjoyed this week’s trip through Graceworks!
